Autumn has come again

I am busy busy busy getting ready for the next adventure: two and a half weeks in Portugal and Spain. Perhaps I will blog it as we go.

Itinerary:

• depart home next Wednesday afternoon, 9/28/2016; fly to Lisbon via Paris from SFO
• Six days in Lisbon with possible side trips to Sintra, Obidos, Cascais
• Train to Porto in northern Portugal; two days there
• Fly to Madrid to catch a high speed train to Seville; only an overnight there
• Train to Granada from Seville; three days there, including the Alhambra
• Train from Granada to Madrid for four more days
• Fly home from Madrid via Paris, to SFO on 10/15/2016

The day I am writing this is the first day of fall 2016. Days grow shorter again; leaves are changing color. Soon it will be persimmon time again; meanwhile my atrium plants are producing plenty of tomatoes still -- let us give thanks. Amen.
